Magpie Soft Toy - Australian Bird Gift

Magpies you either love them or you hate them.  Know for being larrikins or evil swoopers... to be honest I think they are a bit of both.  Mother Magpies protect their nest and they do this by swooping and they have been known to leave a bit of a mark... in Magpie season you'll see people walking with Umbrellas when it is not raining. You will see people riding with funny spikes out of their helmet or even wearing bike helmets when they are walking.... this is not because Australians have gone a bit crackers, its because the Mother Magpie is known to get a bit mad.  You can make friends with magpies though and they wont swoop you, feed them a few worms while you are gardening and they will tend to remember, and you'll get to see them playing around in your background.  You can often spot a Magpie laying on the ground with legs up, hes probably not dead hes just having a sunbake. 

Margaret Magpie will never swoop soft and cuddly she will be your best friend.
